7 may 2004 I had completely forgotten
about an open faced nest box that had been installed in a bush in
our garden. We had noticed a Robin shooting in and out of the bush,
i decided to look and discovered four eggs
This is a picture of our very friendly Robin,
who on this occasion is checking out the Mealworm feeder, looking for
strays
This video clip looks inside the Robin nest
and there is a short clip of Mum on the mealworm feeder
The next day, the chicks duck down when they
hear the noise of me trying to get more pictures
25 may i got the chance to have another
look and snapped this picture of four chicks.
Another shot on the same day.
Two days later and you can see the feathers
forming on their backs.
Lots of growing still to do but they are
starting to look the part.
This picture taken on the 30th May, and
the chicks look like Robins now
This is the last photo I could take as we
had to go away for a few days, and when we returned they had all
fledged. Good luck little Robins.
