| This is Patch on the morning of November
the 8th and this bird is looking very unwell, it has made a terrible
mess on the floor with very watery stools. |

| We watched as Patch struggled to get
coordinated enough to reach the entrance. This is the last picture
of Poor Patch we believe it died shortly after, probably of some
virus. |

This is the same box now cleaned out and
sterilized, with an inquisitive blue tit checking it out |
|
|

| A great tit has been checking out both
boxes, here it is in box 2 |
|
| From the look of its Bib, it may be a female |
|
|
 |
 |
|
| This blue tit and the great tit are
compulsive visitors to both boxes |
|
| The same great tit back in box 2 |

| This looks like a male blue tit checking out
box also |
|
| You can clearly see this is the same great
tit back in box 1 |
|

| Now the same bird is back in 2 again |
|
| This time something upsets it and it turns
out to be the blue tit on the outside |
|
|
 |
 |
|
| So as you can see the birds are keeping an
eye on future roosts or nesting sites |
|
| But as yet no bird has taken up a box at
night, fingers crossed though |
|
