May (Page 15) 2006 (30th May) Chicks Hand

This is just a quick up date. I have
all the family visiting at the moment and I know that many of you are
wanting to know about the chicks. All Three are now fine and flying about,
or sort of, I have them housed in a very large cage so that I can still
feed by hand, all be it with long barbeque skewers. So don't worry, I will
have the latest pictures and a full update on Sunday
The last three are still progressing well and are now 19 days old. They
are starting to get very curious about the world. One of them walked up my
arm this morning while being fed. |

| This is Barney, doing well now, but I am
little worried about its legs. the chick always laid with its legs
stretched out behind it, I thought it was just how it liked to lay,
but now its older I am not so sure. When its older I will get it
looked at if its not seen to improve. |

As for these two, apart from the looks of
scruffy, they are both fine |

I will be changing service providers in the next two
weeks, I had thought that everything would be over by now, and I hope this
will not interrupt the web site, if it does I will not be gone for long. I
will be back as they say. |
