| Bright Eyes seems to have just about
finished her nest, just finishing touches now |

I thought this was the male sticking his head in
for a look, but I now know that its Spot looking to take over. Box 2
is obviously not good enough |

| This bird enters on occasion, is she
trying to take over |

| You can tell this bird is not bright Eyes |

| This is a video of Spot, she enters Bright
eyes nest and just turns it upside down |

Later that day Spot comes in when Bright Eyes is
on her nest and a horrible fight breaks out |
|

| They go at it like you would not believe |
|
| At this point I thought bright Eyes had
reached the end of the road, but a few seconds later panting for
breath she recovered, we where so relieved |
|
|

| This is a video of the fight. I must warn
you that this is quite heart breaking so don't watch if you are
squeamish |
|
| The next day what ever turned up on her
doorstep got a rough greeting |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Two days later and the nest has been
rebuilt and she looks a lot better, less jittery |
