| Omega arrives to see if Aella is amenable
this morning |

| Now this is strange, this Starling having
just been onto our elderberry tree has some fresh buds in its beak |
|
|
It then drops these leaves into the bird box and
goes |
|
|

|
| Just a short while later Aella returns |
|
| Seeing these leaves immediately removes
them. The question is what was happening? was the starling eating a
bud just at the time it happened to be looking in the box, or did it
do this on purpose |

| Omega arrives with a tasty treat for the
love of his life |

| But despite calling he's little head off she
is nowhere to be seen, typical |
|
|

| As is the norm this time of year the birds
spend as much time taking nesting material out as in |

|
A Great Tit has a look again, but this box has
been set for Blue Tits |
|

| Box 2 gets a look from a Great Tit and
this time the entrance hole should be the correct size |
|
| It has a really good look several time's
over the next few mornings, unfortunately we have had some damage
from the recent gales, and the work to put back fence panels etc.
has put them off for the moment |

| This is Omega trying to make himself look
startlingly attractive to Aella, but as yet it does not seem to be
having the desired effect, but he keeps trying |
|
| More moss goes in but comes out shortly
after. You need not put anything on
you're lawn to rid it of moss, just put up a bird box to encourage a
pair of Tits and you're lawn will be fixed in no time, and you'll
have the joy of the birds to boot |

| Omega pops into the Mealworm feeder for
breakfast, you can just see, that Aella, took of from the bird box |
|
|

|
| Omega tries his luck again calling to
Aella, and doesn't let the presence of a Blackbird put him off |
|
| He goes and gets her a mealworm while she
looks on from the box, what a guy |
|

|
| Despite not wanting to use bird box 2
Aella still goes in each morning and does her best to clean it up
after Omega has spent the night |
|
| Omega crouches down, as Aella enters the
box, he is hoping that she wont just kick him out, but of course she
does, she is not ready just yet, but things are warming up. It wont
be long now. |
