1 June all the chicks have fledged this morning. The first chick had a look at freedom at 5.25 and left the nest at 7.21am the second left at 7.23 the third at 7.29 the forth at 7.30. The remaining four chicks huddled at the back of the nest for over an hour. Then at 8.34am the fifth took the plunge the sixth two minutes later at 8.36am followed ten minutes later at 8.56 am by the seventh. The eight and last chick really did not want to leave and chirping in panic finally took the plunge at 9.03am. Mum returned to the empty nest at 9.25 and seemed shocked at the sight of an empty nest
