The morning of June 4 @ 8.20am, the three
remaining chicks
This will be their last day in the box
They don't look up to going just yet, do they?
Good old Aella comes in to feed them
The very scruffy Dad, Omega feeds the little
tinkers
They are starting to look fidgety
Suddenly one jumps up and has a good look
outside, it gets scared by another chick flying by
Up it goes again, this time the coast is
clear
Without another glance out it jumps
The eighth chick immediately senses the urge
to go
A quick look outside, the coast is clear
It starts to fly towards the tree branch you
see in the foreground
At the last minute it changes its mind and
fly's off in the other direction
The last little Indian, suddenly feeling
very alone
This little chap jumps up at the entrance,
but its not so sure as the others
Another three minutes go by before it
strikes up the courage to go for it
And off it goes
Aella returns and cant resist the urge to
clean up

I thought you would like to see this video
of the Tits using the mealworm feeder. You will notice the reducers,
these only allow Tits to enter, as its expensive enough, without
feeding the entire New Forest bird population, or at least, it feels
like that.
So I guess that's it for another breeding
season, at least until we get some roosters taking up residents.
Plans are already underway for next year, with better cameras and
better views.
Thanks for
watching and keep it up as there will be updates from time to time
