We have built a new bird box for 2004 and
this should prove to be a lot more waterproof and warmer if we get
the same bad weather as last year.
The box houses a black and white infrared camera that has been wired
up to our Computer, so we can capture pictures for on-line use

Several visits to the box this morning by one blue tit that spent a
total of fifteen minutes, a coal tit had a look as well
5 January
There has been a great deal of interest this week from a pair of
blue tits who have spent many hours checking out the box inside and
out, see pictures.
12 January
The same pair of tits has continued to show interest and here are some
picture's of the Male checking out the camera.
The male squat's down, enticing the female
in, as soon as she enters, the male shots out.
18 January
More of the same this week with both birds spending time in the box
the female is starting to shuffle more as she test's for the position
of the "we hope" soon to be nest cup
