Hedgehog Page 41 December 2008 |
| Our resident Hedgehog gets a surprise when
another hoggie turns up |
Trying not to be inhospitable it guards the
food, as the errant Hog enters the Hoggie House |
The new Hog after having a good sniff around,
chooses to set up home on the left-hand side of the box creating its
own cell |
| This arrangement didn't last long and the
new Hog left a few hours later |
| Just look at that sweet face how can you
not like them, and what a shiny nose |
| In the morning whatever has not been eaten
by the night life, the birds finish off very quickly |
| Our normal Hoggie checks out the other
compartment just to see if its any warmer in there, I guess |
| More birds willing to help clear up the
Hoggies food |
| This side is no warmer than the other, so
I am going back |
| I caught this picture from the pan and
tilt camera of the Hog out in the daytime, it must be close to
hibernating and just looking for a top up before it starts |
| A short while later and its out again
nosing around |
| Looking for more goodies to eat |
| This smells better over here |
| A Robin gets in on the act, you're not
getting this bit |
| Ah well back to bed, Ill see if its any
better tonight |
| Having had a good last minute run around
the garden |
| This is it, of to slumber land, for a few
days at least, see you soon |
