The hedgehog came out of hibernation temporarily on the 26th January, this time it had a good feed and a walk around the garden

 

Hoggie must be really hungry after such a long time without food

 

Back to the box for another sleep

Later the same night it popped out one more time

The locale Blackbirds are nesting nearby

Both the parent birds also love this food

Just four days later and Hoggie who has a few inhabitants of his own, perhaps from the mice who have been sharing the box from time to time, decided to have a spring clean of the bedding.
