We had to re-site the Hog box, and one of
the first visitors was a Great Tit. The dimensions of the Hoggie box
for those thinking of making one is 35cm square cube with battens to
keep it off the ground and a 30cm long tunnel 10cm * 10cm falling to
the ground at an angle. This picture gives a good view of the

A few days later a Hog discovers the box
and proceeds to check it out. Hoggie does not stay however.
The following night its back and starts filling
the box with leaves

the little Hog runs around gathering leaves and twigs to fill the
box with
Looks real cosy in there doesn't it but
early in the morning it leaves
At 1.24 am the following day it
leaves and has not returned, I hope nothing has happened to it
We still get visits from several Hogs at night
but as yet none have gone back in the box, fingers crossed though
