February (Page 2) 2010
| The boxes are being inspected daily now,
by various birds |
| We are very hopeful of good results this
year, and there should be lots to see very soon |
The Robin who nested last year in the box this
one replaced |
| The Honeysuckle box is also having
visitors, unfortunately the unseasonal weather we had recently has
hit the plant rather badly. We just hope it recovers early enough to
grant this box a bit of cover, sadly missing at the moment |
| yet another bird checking out this box |
| At least the Robin has a choice of two, from
which to choose |
| Meanwhile in bird box 2, the daily visits
are increasing, with this male blue tit in this picture |
| Just before sundown this little scrabble
broke out |
| Its hard to tell what is going on here, we
believe at least one bird is a male |
| the other looks like a female |
| The idea seems to be not to allow the other
bird to leave to easily |
| Good job humans don't carry on like this :) |
| Meanwhile things are moving on a pace, in
bird box 1 |
| This female and we believe its one of a
pair, has taken to this box and as in most years started playing at
nesting |
| This piece now were shall I place it.
