This year has started with lots of Snow, this has brought in some unusual visitors, one of which is this Fieldfare, eating all our apples.

Two Roosters in box 1 and 2
A new month and the first fights have broken out, lets hope they settle soon.

A lot of interest in all the boxes now
March   April  
The Great Tits have made a good start, nest nearing completion

Dunnock nest found in low bush

A hedgehog has stayed a few nights in the Hoggie box
April starts with 3 Dunnock eggs and 11 great tit eggs.

Later a Blue Tit lays 10 eggs

2 Dunnock eggs hatch 1 dies after a few days, the other dies a week later
May   June  
8 or more Great Tit chicks are ready to Fledge. 8 Blue Tit chicks fledge successfully. Blackbird hatches 4 eggs. another Great tit family lay 7 more eggs, despite the nest not being ready
Blackbird chicks big and strong. Great tit hatches 7 eggs. Hand feeding Robin and Blackbird male
